People, let me just say that I have nothing against technology, I’m a computer geek in my own right, and advances in medicine and energy are alright with me.  However, personal technology is just out of control…Blackberries, IPhones, and them goddamned blue tooth ear things really fry my cheese.  Hello?  How about trying a little human contact…go outside get some fresh air.  There are people out there that live and breath by these little gadgets…if they lose it or god forbid it gets broken…they’re lost…I can’t email…I can’t surf the web…I can’t text…here’s an idea…use a phone…a real phone you know with wires…

Some time ago BL and I were in a local eatery having a nice dinner when a couple of youngins came in obviously on a date…they sat down across from one another and proceeded to each whip out cell phones and begin texting…they didn’t even look at each other….WTF?! 

The one thing though that makes me absolutely insane…those damn blue tooth earpieces…are you sooo important that you have to be available at a moment’s notice…are you like what Jack Bauer, waiting for a call from the president.  Take that fucking thing off you look like an idiot.

When I started this blog, I did not want it to be political. I basically wanted to talk about my life, my family, my job, and idiots. How about we say this falls under the idiot category.

First of all I was pissed that GW interrupted my program…I only have so much tv time at night before I’m unconscious. Then he started babbling on about the economic crisis in this country…as soon as he said I feel your frustration I was like that’s it, you’d better put the game back on BL, cause this tv’s goin out the window. He feels our frustration? Does he really? Has he ever lived in a home that’s been or about to be foreclosed on? Has he ever had to cash in cans and bottles in order to buy diapers and formula. Ever scrimped and saved to buy a first home for a young family only to be taken in by so called “predatory lenders”. Ever had to choose between heating a home, eating, or taking necessary medication?

EDIT:  Just to be clear, I’m not talking out my ass when I say this stuff, I have dealt with some of these things, I have turned in cans to buy diapers, and had to decide whether to pay bills or buy heating oil.  End of edit…thank you.

He was up there practically wetting himself just waiting for his term to be up so this is someone else’s problem. Don’t tell us you feel our pain GW, (’cause lets be honest, that’s just bullshit) just do something about it, and guarantee that it will work.
